It's sometimes forgotten that the reality of the Great War was not just confined to the Western Front, but were experienced in coastal towns like Felixstowe where there was a substantial military presence, as men travelled to and from the continent and where there were frequent air raids. The exhibition at Felixstowe captures a little of the the flavour of life in wartime Felixstowe.
